Marinated baby octopus

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 jar octopus (baby octopus), net weight 280 g
  • 3 tsp soy sauce (ponzu soy sauce)
  • 0.33 tsp, leveled sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil, roasted
  • ½ tsp, sautéed sesame seeds, freshly roasted

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

refined in taste, low in calories and rich in healthy ingredients

Rinse the octopus’s pickling liquid and pat the octopus dry. Divide the ponzu soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and sesame seeds between two small bowls and stir until the sugar dissolves. Divide the baby octopus between the two bowls and mix with the marinade. Let the octopus marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes and stir again. The octopus makes a great side dish, for example, with miso soup with peas and sesame. Instructions can be found in my recipes. My tip: Use organic products and a measuring spoon set. I use xylitol instead of sugar.
