Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 200 g mushrooms
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 sprig(s) of thyme
- 20 ml balsamic vinegar
- 80 ml olive oil
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions

Pluck the leaves from the thyme sprig. Mix together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Peel and slice the garlic, roast in olive oil on both sides until light golden, remove from the pan, and set aside. Clean the mushrooms and trim the stems slightly. Halve or quarter larger mushrooms, leaving smaller ones whole. Sauté the mushrooms in the olive oil in which the garlic was previously roasted, and season with salt and pepper. Add the roasted garlic slices and deglaze with the marinade. Immediately remove from the heat, add the thyme leaves, and let stand, covered, for at least 1 hour before serving (preferably overnight). Pairs well with other marinated vegetables as a starter for Mediterranean dishes or as a small snack.
