Marinated Rump Steak on Chicory
The perfect marinated rump steak on chicory recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 St Rumpsteak
- 2 St Medium size chicory
- 1 St Diced onion
- 100 ml White wine
- 100 ml Vegetable or beef stock
- 1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup
- Quarter the chicoree and cut out the bitter stalk in a V-shape
- Sweat the onion and chicory leaves with the stock and wine and simmer, then fold in the honey / maple syrup
- Place a vegetable platter on a preheated plate, place the steaks on top and serve immediately
- the steaks were already marinated and thus they were seared for 1.5 minutes on each side and then cooked in a preheated oven for 10 minutes at 100 °
