Marinated Rump Steak on Chicory

The perfect marinated rump steak on chicory recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 St Rumpsteak
  • 2 St Medium size chicory
  • 1 St Diced onion
  • 100 ml White wine
  • 100 ml Vegetable or beef stock
  • 1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup
  1. Quarter the chicoree and cut out the bitter stalk in a V-shape
  2. Sweat the onion and chicory leaves with the stock and wine and simmer, then fold in the honey / maple syrup
  3. Place a vegetable platter on a preheated plate, place the steaks on top and serve immediately
