Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 jar sour cherries
- 80 g butter
- 120 g white sugar
- 65 g brown sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch(s) vanilla extract
- 200 g marzipan
- 1 egg(s)
- 145 g flour
- 1 pinch(s) of baking powder
- 50 g almonds, ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 52 minutes
Drain the sour cherries and chop them slightly. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (top/bottom heat). Cream together the butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla until creamy and add the marzipan. Add the egg and beat until fluffy. Combine the flour and baking powder and add to the batter. Then stir in the ground almonds. Finally, fold in the sour cherries. Spoon heaped tablespoons of the batter into a cookie pan. Flatten everything. Place the cookies in the bottom third of the oven and bake for about 12 minutes. Then remove the pan and let cool for at least 10 minutes. Finally, carefully remove the cookies from the pan and let cool on a wire rack.
