Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g oat flakes
- 200 g cashews or other nuts
- 400 g mango(s) or other fruit of your choice
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Simple, with only 3 ingredients, without flour, butter, eggs
Prepare the fruit, peel it, and cut it into small pieces. Puree the oats in a blender and transfer it to a bowl. Pour some of the fruit into the blender, blend it, and gradually add the nuts and the remaining fruit, blending everything. For small children, everything should be pureed; older children and adults may have some pieces. Add everything to the oats in the bowl and mix until a tough dough forms. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and, using a small spoon, make small heaps on the surface. Wet the spoon and press the heaps down slightly. Bake the baking sheet with the cookies on the second rack from the bottom at 180°C for 30 minutes. Tip: In the picture, I made double the amount (400/400/800). I always freeze some; my grandchildren love them.
