Marzipan Chili Angel

The perfect marzipan chili angel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Room temperature butter
  • 200 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 190 g Grated nuts
  • 10 g Chia seeds
  • 60 g Sifted icing sugar
  • 2 Pc. Yolk
  • 1 packet Tartar powder
  • 2 tbsp Rum
  • 2 g Chilli powder
  1. Beat the butter and sugar for a few minutes until frothy. Stir the yolks into the mixture and rub the marzipan into the bowl with a larger grater. Mix the flour, nuts, chia seeds, tartar powder and chilli powder in a bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and add the rum.
  2. Now the whole thing is kneaded into a smooth dough, this is wrapped in cling film and placed in the ice box to rest for 24 hours.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and line a baking sheet with paper. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out angels. Place this on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes.
