Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 55 g powdered sugar
  • 70 g flour
  • 70 g almonds, ground
  • some cinnamon
  • 85 g marzipan paste
  • e.g. vanilla extract
  • 1 egg white, size L
  • n. B. Almond(s), halved or whole, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

simple and uncomplicated

Preheat the oven to 160°C (top/bottom heat). Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and add the marzipan pieces. Drizzle over the vanilla extract and knead with the dough hook of a hand mixer. Add the egg whites and continue kneading. It’s best to continue kneading with your hands to ensure everything comes together. Remove the dough from the bowl and form it into marble-sized balls. This works best with wet hands, as the marzipan is very sticky. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and press a small indentation into the balls. Place the almonds there and bake the baking sheet in the oven for about 10-12 minutes. The quantities are so small because I was using up leftovers, so to speak.
