Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g potatoes
  • 25 g diced ham
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 gherkins
  • 200 g crème fraîche lègére
  • 100 g natural yogurt
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • 6 herring fillets
  • ½ bunch chives, in rolls
  • 4 tbsp cucumber juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Boil the potatoes. Fry the ham cubes in a pan without fat and let cool. Dice the onion and cucumber. Mix together the crème fraîche lègére, yogurt, and 4 tablespoons of the cucumber juices. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir in the ham cubes. Add the onion and cucumber to the sauce. Dice the herring and mix into the sauce. Sprinkle with the chives and serve with the boiled potatoes.
