Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 300 g fish fillet(s) (matjes fillets in oil)
  • 1 m.-large onion(s), red
  • 6 tomato peppers, from the jar (fillet pieces)
  • 5 small gherkins (cornichons)
  • 8 slice(s) celery , from the jar and 50 ml of the stock
  • 1 apple, sweet, peeled
  • 2 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 2 tbsp, sautéed mustard seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Moni’s old family recipe from Grandma Utgenannt

Finely dice the fish, onion, tomato, peppers, gherkins, celery, apple, and egg and place in a bowl. Add the celery stock and mustard seeds and mix everything gently. Refrigerate and let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
