Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1,000 g leaf spinach
  • Salt
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp coriander, ground
  • ½ tsp cumin, ground
  • ½ sumac
  • Lemon(s) – slices

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the spinach, remove any coarse stems, and drain. Cook in plenty of salted water for 3-4 minutes. Cool in ice water, then squeeze out any excess liquid. Thinly slice the onion and garlic and fry in oil until golden brown. Add the spices to the spinach and serve. Garnish with lemon slices.
