Maultaschen casserole from the Airfryer

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of Maultasche(s) from the refrigerated section
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 small can of tomatoes, chopped
  • e.g. herbs, Italian, frozen, fresh or dried
  • 100 g mozzarella, grated
  • 1 tsp olive oil for frying and some for the dish
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Sauté the chopped onion and garlic in olive oil. Deglaze with the tomatoes. Season with herbs, pepper, paprika, and salt. Reduce the heat to low. Meanwhile, cut the Maultaschen into strips and place them in a casserole dish lightly greased with olive oil. Pour the sauce over the pasta. Place in a large (5.5-liter) casserole dish at 160°C for 15 minutes. After 5 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the casserole with grated cheese.
