  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Pan-fried dish

Cut the Maultaschen into four strips each. Slice the peeled onion, celery, and yellow bell pepper, and dice the garlic clove. Drain the red bell peppers. Slice the peeled Turkish garlic sausage, fry in the oil, and remove from the pan. Fry the vegetables, except for the red bell pepper, in the oil. Add a little water and carefully season with salt, pepper, cumin, and harissa, as the sausage, olives, and feta cheese already provide plenty of spice and heat. Heat the red bell pepper strips, olives, Maultaschen, and fried sucuk in the pan and thicken slightly with tomato paste and yogurt. Do not allow the dish to boil with the yogurt! Alternatively, the yogurt can be served at the end of the prepared dish. Crumble the feta cheese over the pan-fried dish and serve sprinkled with flat-leaf parsley, if available.
