Marzipan – Easter Cake with Eggs

Ingredients
 

  • 150 g Butter (soft)
  • 150 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 0,5 Vials Bitter Almond Flavoring
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Teaspoon (level) Baking powder
  • 3 Eggs
  • 250 g Flour
  • 200 g Double cream cheese
  • 50 g Whipped cream
  • 1,5 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 75 g Dark chocolate
  • 2 Surprise egg

Instructions
 

  • Preparation dough: Grease a springform pan (from 20 cm Ø) and dust with flour. Roughly grate the marzipan. Beat the butter until frothy. Add the marzipan with sugar, vanilla sugar, bitter almond flavor and salt one after the other and stir until creamy. Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix flour with baking powder and stir in. Pour the batter into the springform pan and smooth it out. In the preheated oven with fan: Bake 150 ° C for approx. 40-50 minutes. Remove and let cool on a wire rack. Prepare the wells for the surprise eggs
  • Preparation cream: Melt the chocolate over a warm water bath (30 ° C). Mix together the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Gradually stir in the cream, then the chocolate. Place the surprise eggs in the wells and coat the cake with the cream. Chill for 30 minutes. Fill the surprise halves with Easter chocolate.
