Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 breaded, pre-cooked chicken schnitzels
  • lots of remoulade
  • 4 slices of American toast
  • some lettuce leaves
  • 1 tbsp corn, from the can, if desired
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

in a cheap sandwich version

Fry the chicken schnitzel in a pan with a little butter until golden brown on both sides. Cut some washed lettuce leaves into strips. Lightly brown the toast in a toaster or oven. Place a small pile of lettuce on a slice of bread, cover generously with remoulade, and top with a lightly filled tablespoon of drained corn, if desired. Place the chicken schnitzel in the pan and press it down with another slice of toast. Delicious hot or cold.
