Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 10 oranges (blood oranges)
- 1 kg gelling sugar
Instructions

Wash half of the blood oranges under hot water. Peel the zest from these oranges in a spiral pattern, leaving no trace of the fuzzy, white inner skin. Cut the zest into very fine strips. Juice all of the oranges and pour the juice through a sieve. Measure three-quarters of a liter of juice. In a large saucepan, combine the juice with the preserving sugar and bring to a boil. Boil gently for four minutes. Stir in the finely chopped orange peel during the last minute. Pour the jelly into clean jars while still hot and seal. Shelf life: One year.
