Meatball Stew
The perfect meatball stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 8 Pc. Medium sized potatoes
- 6 Pc. Carrots
- 0,5 Celery
- 3 Poles Leek
- 500 g Minced meat
- 1,5 l Vegetable broth
- Salt pepper
- Herb quark
- 1 Egg
- Breadcrumbs
- First, the potatoes, carrots and celery are peeled and cut into small cubes. Wash the leek and cut into fine rings.
- Then add all of this to a large saucepan and about 1 liter of stock and let it cook for about 30 minutes so the vegetables are not yet too soft.
- In the meantime, I cook the minced meat with egg, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs and form small to medium-sized balls out of it. I then put it in the pot with the vegetables and let it cook for another 15 minutes and then add the rest of the broth.
- Then taste it briefly, but most of the time the meatballs have created a wonderful taste and you don’t have to do much with it. Then put on a plate and, if you like, garnish with a spoonful of herb quark and let taste. Good hunger !!!!!!!!!!!
