Meatball Stew

The perfect meatball stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 8 Pc. Medium sized potatoes
  • 6 Pc. Carrots
  • 0,5 Celery
  • 3 Poles Leek
  • 500 g Minced meat
  • 1,5 l Vegetable broth
  • Salt pepper
  • Herb quark
  • 1 Egg
  • Breadcrumbs
  1. First, the potatoes, carrots and celery are peeled and cut into small cubes. Wash the leek and cut into fine rings.
  2. Then add all of this to a large saucepan and about 1 liter of stock and let it cook for about 30 minutes so the vegetables are not yet too soft.
  3. In the meantime, I cook the minced meat with egg, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs and form small to medium-sized balls out of it. I then put it in the pot with the vegetables and let it cook for another 15 minutes and then add the rest of the broth.
  4. Then taste it briefly, but most of the time the meatballs have created a wonderful taste and you don’t have to do much with it. Then put on a plate and, if you like, garnish with a spoonful of herb quark and let taste. Good hunger !!!!!!!!!!!
