Meatballs and Colorful Vegetables

for the meatballs

  • 500 g Mixed minced meat
  • Salt, pepper, paprika powder to taste
  • 1 Finely chopped onion
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoon Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Tomato ketchup
  • 0,5 teaspoon Caraway seeds

For the vegetables

  • 2 Carrots
  • 1 Kohlrabi fresh
  • 0,125 liter Liquid vegetable stock
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • Chopped parsley
  • ———————-
  • Salt potatoes
  1. Knead all the ingredients into a dough and form meatballs out of them and slowly fry on both sides in a little fat.
  2. Peel and dice the carrots and kohlrabi, cook in the broth until soft – drain – fold in the butter and parsley, season again to taste and serve with the meatballs and boiled potatoes.
