Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 rolls, soft
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper, from the mill
  • 1 package of sheep’s cheese
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 2 onions
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 2 bell peppers, red and green
  • 4 tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 1 stale roll
  • Pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut open the rolls and hollow them out. Brush each half with a little olive oil. Soak the day-old roll in a little water, squeeze out the excess moisture, and add it to the minced meat. Squeeze the garlic, finely chop the onions and bell peppers, and add it to the minced meat mixture. Knead the mixture thoroughly and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Fill each roll half with the minced meat. Slice the feta cheese and top the rolls with it. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes until crispy. Serve garnished with pepperoni.
