Mediterranean Roast Pork with Red Wine Sauce
The perfect mediterranean roast pork with red wine sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Roast pork
- Salt flavored
- Pepper from the grinder
- 2 tbsp Clarified butter
- 2 piece Garlic cloves
- 2 piece Onions
- 2 piece Beefsteak tomatoes
- 1 piece Carrot
- 1 piece Fresh celery
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 200 ml Red wine
- 500 ml Broth
- 1 branch Fresh thyme
- 1 branch Rosemary
- 1 tsp Honey
- First, soak the Römi properly in H2O and let it soak up the roast, season with salt and pepper and fry in 1 tablespoon of lard
- Mash the garlic, cut the onions, tomatoes, carrot and celery into cubes and fry in the pan. Add tomato paste and roast with it.
- Put the fried vegetables in the Römi that has been rescued from the water. Put the roast on top
- Pour red wine and broth, add sprigs of herbs and put in the cold oven at 140 ° C, unfortunately it stayed there for three hours instead of two – but survived – the child came home too late * sniff *
- Thicken the sauce if desired – I don’t like that at all … and season with salt and pepper and honey if necessary
- Good hunger!
