Melons – Cold Peel …
The perfect melons – cold peel … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 0,5 Honeydew melon
- 1 tablespoon Orange liqueur
- 0,5 Fresh lime
- 1 piece Ginger about the size of a thumbnail
- 4 Lemon balm leaves
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 2 Centiliters White wine dry
- Chilli flakes
- Lemon balm leaves
- Remove the seeds from the melon with a spoon. Cut out five balls with a melon cutter. Put in a bowl and drizzle the orange liqueur over it. Refrigerate.
- Cut the remaining pulp from the melon. Chill the melon peel. Squeeze the lime. Peel the ginger and grate finely. Wash lemon balm, shake dry and tear the leaves a little.
- Puree the melon pulp with a teaspoon of lime juice, ginger, lemon balm leaves and sugar. Pour in the wine and mix everything well.
- Place the melon peel on a dessert plate. Pour in the cold bowl. Grind a few chilli flakes over it. Spread the melon balls on top and finally garnish with lemon balm. Chill for another 20 minutes … and then just enjoy 😉
