Melons – Cold Peel …

The perfect melons – cold peel … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,5 Honeydew melon
  • 1 tablespoon Orange liqueur
  • 0,5 Fresh lime
  • 1 piece Ginger about the size of a thumbnail
  • 4 Lemon balm leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 2 Centiliters White wine dry
  • Chilli flakes
  • Lemon balm leaves
  1. Remove the seeds from the melon with a spoon. Cut out five balls with a melon cutter. Put in a bowl and drizzle the orange liqueur over it. Refrigerate.
  2. Cut the remaining pulp from the melon. Chill the melon peel. Squeeze the lime. Peel the ginger and grate finely. Wash lemon balm, shake dry and tear the leaves a little.
  3. Puree the melon pulp with a teaspoon of lime juice, ginger, lemon balm leaves and sugar. Pour in the wine and mix everything well.
  4. Place the melon peel on a dessert plate. Pour in the cold bowl. Grind a few chilli flakes over it. Spread the melon balls on top and finally garnish with lemon balm. Chill for another 20 minutes … and then just enjoy 😉
