Mild Homemade Yogurt
The perfect mild homemade yogurt recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 liter Milk
- 1 packet Yogurt ferment
- Yogurt maker
- Thermometer
- Heat fresh, soy, raw or preferred milk to almost the boiling point and then let it cool down to 38 degrees (if you use long-life milk, only heat it to 38 degrees)
- Mix the milk very well with the packet of yoghurt ferment and pour into the glasses of the yoghurt maker, close the glasses and let them mature. Depending on the desired strength between 5 and 8 hours. Then let it cool in the refrigerator
- Now enjoy with cinnamon sugar or fruit as you like
- Keep 4 tablespoons of the finished yoghurt and use these – instead of the ferment – for further inoculation
- This yogurt is very mild and tastes a lot better than store-bought ones
- You can get yoghurt ferment in health food stores
