Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g onion(s)
  • 500 g apples
  • ½ bunch marjoram
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 200 g blue cheese
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

with marjoram and cherry tomatoes

Peel the onions and slice into thin rings. Wash the apples and core them using a corer. Slice the apples into rings. Wash the marjoram, shake it dry, and chop it finely. Heat the clarified butter in a pan and fry the onion rings until golden yellow. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly; let it brown. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the apple rings and marjoram and simmer for 10 minutes. Wash the tomatoes, halve them, and stir in after 5 minutes. Finally, cut the blue cheese into small cubes, sprinkle it over the minced meat and apple mixture, and let it melt with the lid closed. Season again briefly and serve. Potatoes go best with this. If necessary, cook them in advance, slice them (as for fried potatoes), and either stir them into the dish or serve them separately at the table.
