Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 large potatoes
- 1 onion(s)
- 500 g minced meat
- ½ head of white cabbage
- 1 large kohlrabi
- 200 g herb cheese spread
- 1 cup sour cream
- 50 g cheese, grated
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Brown the minced meat with the diced onion. Add the cleaned and chopped cabbage and fry until crispy. Peel the kohlrabi, cut into cubes, and add it as well. Add the cream cheese and simmer gently. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes, slice them thinly, and line the bottom and sides of a greased, deep casserole dish. Lightly and evenly sprinkle the potato slices with salt. Season the minced meat and cabbage mixture with salt and pepper and pour into the casserole dish. Add another layer of sliced potatoes and sprinkle with salt. Mix the sour cream with the grated cheese, season with salt, and pepper, and spread over the top layer of potatoes. Cook at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 45 minutes.
