Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 13 g salt
  • 2 g coriander powder
  • 2 g nutmeg
  • 1 g marjoram, shredded
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 200 g spinach, frozen, well squeezed
  • 30 g breadcrumbs
  • 40 g Emmental cheese, grated
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Combine the ground beef, spinach, cheese, and breadcrumbs with all the other ingredients and mix well (a food processor is helpful). Roll with wet hands into 5-6 cm thick meatballs and cook in lightly salted, gently boiling water. When the meatballs float to the top, let them stand for another 5 minutes. They go well with kohlrabi and boiled potatoes, for example, or with a cheese and cream sauce for bread dumplings. Yields 6-7 meatballs, depending on the size.
