Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 large onions
  • 5 tbsp lard
  • 500 g minced beef
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white
  • 1 pinch of clove pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of paprika powder, hot
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 800 g beans, white with soup vegetables
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 200 ml red wine
  • ⅛ liter broth
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 2 beef sausages
  • lard

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Brown the minced meat in a fireproof dish with a little lard, add the finely chopped onions and chopped garlic, and continue to cook, stirring, until browned. Add the tomato paste and seasonings. Deglaze with red wine and stock, and stir in the beans and stock. Stir in the sliced ​​beef sausages, breadcrumbs, and chopped parsley, and season to taste. Top with lard flakes. Bake on the middle rack of the oven at 200°C for 20 minutes. Note: This dish can also be prepared the day before and then simply baked.
