Minced steaks with pearl onions

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g tartar
  • 250 g minced pork
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tsp, leveled celery salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 250 ml sauce (cream roast sauce) Ready-made product or homemade
  • 4 tbsp parsley, chopped or frozen parsley
  • some chervil, dried or fresh
  • some lovage, dried or fresh
  • 4 tbsp onion(s) (pearl onions)
  • 2 tsp, leveled sugar
  • 1 roll, old
  • Oil, for frying the minced steaks

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Soak the bread roll in a little water, then squeeze out excess water and tear it into pieces. Mix the meat with the crushed bread roll, garlic, celery, salt, and pepper, and knead. With wet hands, form the dough into dumplings and then flatten them into steaks. Fry in hot oil for about 4-6 minutes on each side until browned. Remove the steaks and keep warm. Add the pearl onions, herbs, mustard, and sugar, and cook for 1 minute. Arrange the steaks on plates and pour the sauce over them.
