Mini fried eggs

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 egg(s)
  • Oil for frying
  • n. B. Spice(s) of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

from the freezer

Place the raw egg in the shell in the freezer overnight. The next day, briefly run warm water over the frozen egg; this will make it easier to peel. Heat oil in a pan. Slice the frozen egg (I’ve found a bread knife to be effective). Place the egg slices in the hot oil, leaving enough space between them, and fry until they form small fried eggs. Sprinkle with your favorite seasonings, if desired. Arrange on a platter, garnish, and serve. Equally recommended as a little breakfast treat, as a topping for a dinner sandwich, or as a “children’s fried egg.”
