Mini meatballs in fruity curry sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g minced meat, beef, mixed or poultry
  • ½ onion(s), finely diced
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • curry
  • marjoram
  • 1 tbsp oat flakes, fine for loosening
  • 1 small egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • some fat
  • 1 onion(s), finely diced
  • 1 small can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tsp curry
  • some chili
  • some soy sauce, unsweetened
  • some sugar or other sweetener
  • ½ jar apple compote

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Combine the meatball ingredients and let them set in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Form into small meatballs and fry in a little fat. Then set aside. For the sauce, sauté the diced onions in the remaining fat until translucent, add the tomatoes, and season with the spices. Stir in the apple compote and bring to a boil. Add the meatballs to the sauce and heat through, then season to taste. Serve with mashed potatoes.
