Ingredients

for filling:

  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • 300 g Flour
  • 100 g Cane sugar
  • 100 g Hazelnuts or almonds, pistachios etc.
  • E.G. marzipan, nougat, amarena cherries, hazelnut mass, poppy seeds, etc.
  • Cinnamon sugar, and many other varieties

Instructions

  • Knead the butter with the cream cheese and flour. Divide into 4 parts, shape into balls and refrigerate - at least 1 hour. Mix the cane sugar with the nuts and spread 1/2 on the board. Roll out the ball on it (approx. 26 diameter) and divide into 18 parts. Fill and roll up. Bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. But they also taste wonderful without a filling. You can also roll out the recipe from a sugar-cinnamon mixture without nuts! The croissants keep for a good 1 week to 10 days in a tin can - if you get the opportunity ;-). They are also suitable for freezing! From the freezer made of baking sheet - then takes a few minutes longer - estimate between 5-10 minutes. The croissants with a lot of sugar or cane sugar on top - don't need that long - or reduce the temperature if necessary - because the sugar carmells and can burn very quickly! So always keep an eye on the mini parts
