Mississippi Rice

- 3 Pc. Apple
- 200 g Raisins
- 200 ml Maple syrup
- 500 ml Cream
- 2 l Milk
- 50 g Walnuts
- 250 g Quark
- 500 g Wild rice
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- Cut the apples into small cubes and heat them in a saucepan with 2 liters of milk and 400 ml of cream. Now add the raisins and 150 ml maple syrup, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and rice to the pot and simmer for about 20 minutes. As soon as the rice is done, put everything together in a baking dish and mix with the rest of the cream, maple syrup and quark and place in the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees. Now fill into small bowls and garnish with walnuts.
