Moist apple chocolate cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 large apples
  • 4 cl Amaretto, to taste
  • 4 eggs
  • 175 g sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 4 tbsp baking cocoa
  • ½ bottle of bitter almond flavor
  • 150 ml oil, neutral
  • 150 g chocolate coating or cake icing, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

for a 26cm springform pan

Peel and grate the apples, mix with a little Amaretto and let it marinate for a while. Beat the eggs until frothy and stir in the sugar. Also stir in the flour, baking powder, cocoa and flavoring. Add the grated apples and finally stir in the oil. The batter, which will be quite runny, is poured into a 26 cm baking pan and bake on the middle rack of an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 35-45 minutes (depending on the oven). Do the skewer test; there should be no batter sticking to the pan, although the apples will make the cake a little moister. Let the cake cool and decorate with icing, chocolate sprinkles, etc. if desired. If you like the cake a little sweeter, please use a little more sugar.
