Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g barley (rolled barley)
  • 400 g beans, white and red
  • 1 piece(s) of smoked meat
  • Root vegetables (carrots, onions, parsley, potatoes)
  • Spices)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 20 minutes

Barley and beans are soaked the day before and then boiled in the soaking water until semi-soft. Then finely chopped root vegetables, onions, and parsley are added, cooked until soft, and seasoned with soup seasoning and diced smoked meat. The soup is especially delicious if smoked meat is cooked along with the soup.
