Morbier Shallot Chicken

The perfect morbier shallot chicken recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Chicken:

  • 800 g Fresh chicken breast
  • Seasoned salt from my KB
  • Garlic pepper from my KB
  • Curry
  • Sweet paprika powder
  • Telly cherry pepper
  • Mace
  • Oil

Sauce:

  • 5 Fresh shallots
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 150 g Bacon cubes
  • Oil
  • 150 ml Riesling dry
  • 150 g Morbier cheese AOC
  • 200 ml Cream
  • Thyme freeze dried
  • Seasoned salt from my KB
  • Garlic pepper from my KB
  • Telly cherry pepper

For gratinating:

  • 200 g Morbier cheese AOC

Chicken: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees!

  1. Chop the chicken and season with seasoning salt, garip pepper, paprika, curry, nutmeg, pepper and fry briefly in hot oil in 2 portions, place in a baking dish.

Sauce:

  1. Peel shallots and garlic, cut shallots into wedges and finely grate the garlic! Heat the pan from above with the gravy and fry the shallots, then add the bacon and garlic. Fry briefly and deglaze with wine. Bring to the boil briefly and melt the cheese in it. Add thyme and season with seasoned salt, garip pepper and pepper. Pour over the shredded meat.
  2. Finally, cover everything with cheese and bake in the preheated oven for about 20-30 minutes!
  3. Serve! There was also pasta and a green salad! Potatoes also go great! 🙂
