Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g smoked pork
- 1 kg swede(s)
- 500 g carrot(s)
- 500 g potatoes
- 4 sausages (cooked)
- 2 onions
- 1 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper

A delicious stew for cold days!
Bring the smoked pork to a boil with 1/4 liter of water, cover, and simmer gently over low heat for about 1 hour. In the meantime, halve the turnip, peel it, cut it into thumb-thick slices, and dice it. Peel and dice the carrots and potatoes. After an hour of cooking, layer the turnips, then the carrots, and finally the potatoes in the smoked pork pot. Place the sausages on top, cover, and continue simmering for 40 minutes over medium heat. Remove the smoked pork and sausages and keep warm. Mash the vegetables three times so that only some of them are mashed. Season the stew with salt and pepper. Peel the onions, slice them, and fry them in a pan with butter until browned, then add them to the stew. Cut the smoked pork and sausages into pieces/slices and serve with the stew.
