Mozzarella and grilled tomatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 tomatoes (normal size)
  • 250g mozzarella
  • 4 tsp pesto (basil)
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Wash the tomatoes and cut off the tops. Deseed the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper. Cut the mozzarella into approximately 1 cm cubes and mix with the pesto. Fill the tomatoes with the mixture and replace the tomato tops. Wrap the tomatoes in aluminum foil. Once prepared, grill for about 10 minutes or bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes. Serve with tzatziki and baguette.
