Mozzarella and tomato skewers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 16 cherry tomatoes, yellow or red
  • 16 balls of mozzarella, mini balls
  • 16 basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp Pesto alla Genovese

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Wash the tomatoes. Drain the mozzarella. Wash the basil leaves and pat them dry. Wrap each mozzarella ball with a basil leaf. Thread a tomato with a mozzarella ball in the leaf onto each skewer, alternating the tomato and mozzarella ball on the skewer. Spread some pesto on each mozzarella ball.
