Muesli Balls

The perfect muesli balls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

dough

  • 500 g Wheat flour type 550
  • 100 g Rye flour
  • 50 g Wholegrain rye flour
  • 150 g Fruit cereal
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 80 g Cane sugar
  • 1 Msp Ground vanilla pod
  • 1,5 packet Dry yeast
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Protein
  • 100 g Yogurt
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 150 ml Water
  • 30 g Melt butter

Almond crust

  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 20 g Almond leaves
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Msp Ground vanilla pod
  • Fat and
  • Breadcrumbs for the mold

preparation

  1. 2 Grease loaf tins and dust with breadcrumbs. Separate one egg and stir the yolks in a small bowl with 1 tablespoon of milk. Crush the almond with sugar and vanilla. Warm the milk and water slightly and add the butter.

  1. Put the dry ingredients with the eggs and yoghurt in the food processor with a dough hook. Pour the warmed milk, water and butter over it and knead on a low level until everything is well mixed. Only then, knead on the highest level for 3 minutes. Cover the dough and let rise for 45 minutes.
  1. Cut the dough into 2 equal parts, give it a loaf shape and press firmly into the prepared molds. Cover the molds and let rise for another 45 minutes.

Almond crust

  1. Brush both dumplings with the egg milk mixture and sprinkle with the almond mixture. Bake at 150 °, 45 minutes. Let cool and cut into thick slices. We like to eat it with homemade jam, today berries and peach plums (from our own harvest), a pleasure! Now I have prepared it for you, reach out and enjoy it!
