Muesli Balls
The perfect muesli balls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
dough
- 500 g Wheat flour type 550
- 100 g Rye flour
- 50 g Wholegrain rye flour
- 150 g Fruit cereal
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- 80 g Cane sugar
- 1 Msp Ground vanilla pod
- 1,5 packet Dry yeast
- 1 Egg
- 1 Protein
- 100 g Yogurt
- 250 ml Milk
- 150 ml Water
- 30 g Melt butter
Almond crust
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 20 g Almond leaves
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 Msp Ground vanilla pod
- Fat and
- Breadcrumbs for the mold
preparation
- 2 Grease loaf tins and dust with breadcrumbs. Separate one egg and stir the yolks in a small bowl with 1 tablespoon of milk. Crush the almond with sugar and vanilla. Warm the milk and water slightly and add the butter.

- Put the dry ingredients with the eggs and yoghurt in the food processor with a dough hook. Pour the warmed milk, water and butter over it and knead on a low level until everything is well mixed. Only then, knead on the highest level for 3 minutes. Cover the dough and let rise for 45 minutes.
- Cut the dough into 2 equal parts, give it a loaf shape and press firmly into the prepared molds. Cover the molds and let rise for another 45 minutes.
Almond crust
- Brush both dumplings with the egg milk mixture and sprinkle with the almond mixture. Bake at 150 °, 45 minutes. Let cool and cut into thick slices.
