Ingredients

  • Muesli (gluten free)
  • Butter
  • Honey
  • Eggs (L)

Instructions

  • Heat the butter and honey so that the butter melts and the honey becomes more liquid. Let cool down a bit and add to the muesli and stir thoroughly so that the muesli is evenly moist. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees top / bottom heat
  • Now beat the egg whites into firm egg whites and carefully fold them into the muesli mixture. Now either press the mixture firmly into a bar form or spread it on a baking sheet and e.g. with a glass, press down firmly. Now bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on how brown / crispy you want it to be.
  • Let cool in the mold / on the tray. When it is cold, carefully cut or remove from the mold.

Variations

  • I made it with Kölln muesli and chocolate muesli from Bauckhof. You could also make 625g muesli yourself and use it or, as I did, spread pieces of chocolate on it after baking.
