Mushroom pasta sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g mushrooms, brown
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • 1 large onion(s), diced
  • 100 g herb cream cheese
  • 200 g cream
  • Herbs of Provence
  • Pizza seasoning
  • rosemary
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 g pasta (fusilli), vegan
  • salt water
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Tip: Use a kettle for faster cooking and to save electricity. Sauté the diced onion and chopped garlic in butter until lightly browned. Clean and slice the mushrooms, and fry until nicely browned. Add the herb cheese, melt it, and then deglaze with cream until a creamy sauce forms. Season to taste. Be careful with the rosemary; it has a strong flavor!
