Mushrooms in Spicy Herb Sauce …
The perfect mushrooms in spicy herb sauce … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the mushrooms:
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 liter Boiling water
- 250 g Mushrooms brown
- 30 g Branded butter
- 1 Diced onion
- 2 cl Brandy
- 250 ml Cream
- 175 g Cream cheese with herbs 70% F.i.Tr
- Salt and pepper
- Sliced hard cheese
- Clean the mushrooms, then cut them into slices and finely dice the onion.
- Sear the mushroom slices with the onion cubes in the butter (do not brown), then pour in the brandy and cream, bring to the boil and add the cream cheese while stirring and let it melt. Season to taste with pepper and salt.
- Cook the pasta in salted water, pour it into a colander to drain and serve with the spicy, creamy mushrooms and some grated pecorino cheese.
- I also served a pan-fried lamb chop. But that wouldn’t have been necessary because the pasta and mushroom dish alone would have been enough, as delicious as it was!
- By the way, the recipe was written on the packaging of the mushrooms and simply tempted me to cook it. And now we will have it more often because it was extremely inexpensive, extremely quick to prepare and extremely tasty. Just try it out for yourself!
