Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ½ kg spare ribs
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 4 tbsp coarse-grained mustard
- 250 ml tomato ketchup
- 1 dashes Tabasco
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes
Cut the spare ribs into portions (2-3 ribs) and place them in a large bowl. For the marinade, peel and mince the garlic, mix with sugar, vinegar, mustard, and ketchup, and season with Tabasco. Pour the marinade over the spare ribs and marinate for at least 3 hours. Grill the ribs on the grill (in the oven at 190°C) for about 30 minutes, turning them several times and brushing them with the remaining marinade. Season with salt and pepper.
