Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 150 g mustard seeds, yellow
- 360 ml water
- 180 ml rice vinegar
- 180 ml apple cider vinegar
- 100 g raw cane sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Combine all ingredients in a pot, mix well, and then heat gently. Once boiling, simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring frequently. After 45 minutes, the grains should have swollen. Transfer the grains to a clean jar and let cool. These pickles add a special kick to any Asian dish.
