Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g macaroni
- 500 g minced meat
- 500 ml salsa
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can of corn
- 150 g cheese, grated
- 50 g nacho(s) (tortillas nacho cheese)
- salt and pepper
- chili powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Cook the macaroni until al dente. Meanwhile, brown the ground beef until crumbly. Season with salt, pepper, and chili to taste. Drain the cooked pasta and layer all the ingredients in the casserole dish. Add the pasta on the bottom, a dollop of salsa and a dollop of sour cream, and spread everything out evenly. Spread the ground beef on top, followed by another dollop of salsa and sour cream. Then add the beans and corn, and another dollop of salsa and sour cream. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Place the casserole in the oven for 20 minutes. For the last 5 minutes, arrange the nachos around the edge of the casserole dish, sprinkle some nacho crumbs over the cheese, and finish cooking.
