Nectarine-pineapple-sour cherry smoothie

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 2 nectarines or peaches, ripe, fresh
  • 150 g pineapple, fresh
  • 100 g sour cherries, sweetened (frozen)
  • 100 ml tea (iced tea, peach flavor)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

fruity refreshment made from lots of fruit

Peel the ripe nectarines or peaches and remove the flesh from the pit. Puree them with the fresh pineapple (the amount can vary depending on your taste; I used about 1/4 of a small-medium pineapple) and the thawed sour cherries. You could certainly use the sour cherries in a glass and ice cubes to chill the drink, but I don’t know how that would affect the sweetness of the smoothie. Then add about 100 ml of iced tea (depending on how thick you want the smoothie) and serve with a straw. This is a very delicious smoothie, and unlike many other versions, you can actually taste the three different fruits.
