Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g barley flour
  • 125 g glutinous rice flour from “Mochigome” glutinous rice
  • 30 g ginseng powder
  • 125 g honey
  • n. B. Sake, high-quality

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Hyorogan – for approx. 20 pieces

Mix all ingredients and simmer on low heat until the excess sake evaporates. You should end up with a chewy, sticky brown mass, which you can then form into balls 0.5-0.8 cm in diameter. Let them dry either in the air or—even better—in the oven. You can form them into larger balls, but drying takes longer. Ideal for diets.
