Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g sushi rice
  • 80 ml rice vinegar
  • 1 avocado(s)
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 4 tbsp sesame seeds, roasted
  • 250 g raw salmon, sushi-quality
  • 250 g raw tuna, sushi-quality
  • 100 ml soy sauce, mild
  • 4 tsp wasabi paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions. Then pour the rice vinegar over it. Chill. Chop all the other ingredients and set aside. To serve, fill four bowls with the rice. Distribute the remaining ingredients over the rice and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Serve with soy sauce and wasabi paste. Serve with pickled ginger and freshly chopped cilantro, if desired. If you like, you can also complement the bowl with freshly diced mango and a squeeze of lime on the avocado.
