Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 270 g flour
  • ¼ tsp, leveled salt
  • 1 tsp whiskey or orange juice
  • 80 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 8 tbsp powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 13 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 43 minutes

Cream the butter and honey until fluffy. Stir in the powdered sugar, flour, salt, whiskey or juice, and nuts. Wrap the dough in foil and chill for about 3 hours. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven). Use a teaspoon to scoop out small portions of the dough and form them into balls. Bake at 180°C (350°F) on the middle rack of the oven for about 13 minutes. Remove the balls, let them cool, and then roll them in powdered sugar, ideally while they’re still a bit cold. This recipe yields about 36 balls.
