Noodle and vegetable stir-fry

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 ml water
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 stock cube
  • 4 handfuls of pasta (spirals or penne)
  • 4 handfuls of mixed vegetables, frozen
  • 150 g ham sausage, diced
  • 1 cup whipped cream, approx. 200 g
  • some cheese, e.g. Gouda
  • some oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Heat a large, nonstick skillet with a lid until warm. Add the water, spices, stock cubes, uncooked pasta, frozen vegetables, and ham sausage cubes, and reduce the heat by half. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Then stir and add the cream. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Cover and simmer until the cheese is melted.
