Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 150 g hazelnuts, ground
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g nougat
  • Chocolate coating
  • Almond(s), chopped

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours

makes 40 – 50 cookies

Sift the flour onto a baking sheet, make a well in the center, and place the sugar, vanilla sugar, ground hazelnuts, baking powder, and butter flakes around the edge. Crack the egg into the well, knead quickly, and refrigerate the dough. Roll out the dough and cut out cookies using a round cutter. Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes at 175°C. Melt the nougat and chocolate coating separately in a water bath. Spread the undersides of half of the cooled cookies with nougat and place the other cookies on top. Dip half of the cookies into the chocolate coating and decorate with chopped almonds. Allow everything to dry thoroughly.
