Nut-nougat cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of clove(s)
  • 1 pinch of mace
  • ½ bottle of lemon flavoring (lemon baking oil)
  • 50 g raisins
  • 30 g candied orange peel
  • 30 g candied lemon
  • 250 g hazelnuts
  • 200 g nut nougat
  • powdered sugar
  • lemon juice
  • chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 45 minutes

without flour

Finely grind the raisins, candied orange peel, and candied lemon peel with the hazelnuts. Beat the eggs and sugar thoroughly with a mixer. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill the dough for about 2 hours, as it will be somewhat sticky. Roll the dough into small balls, flatten them, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 160°C for 25 minutes. Make a glaze from the powdered sugar and lemon juice. Brush the cooled cookies with it and sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles.
